The Federal Emergency Management Agency's Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) program prioritizes projects that reduce risks posed by natural hazards. Unlike REPI military installation resilience projects, which focus exclusively on developing natural infrastructure solutions, BRIC projects can use a combination of built and natural infrastructure as long as the project is cost effective, technically feasible, and increases a community’s resilience.
