Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation Grants

The Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation (OLDCC) is a unique line function that furthers the priorities of the National Defense Strategy by supporting our warfighters and ensuring the readiness and lethality of our defense missions through technical and financial assistance to states, counties, municipalities, regions, and other communities. This assistance is designed to foster cooperation with military installations to enhance the military mission, achieve facility and infrastructure savings, reduced operating costs, address encroachment and compatible land use issues, support military families, and increase military, civilian, and industrial capabilities for our national security.

Defense Community Infrastructure Program

The Defense Community Infrastructure Program is a competitive grant program designed to address deficiencies in community infrastructure that can/does support a military installation’s readiness and lethality.

Installation Readiness Program

The REPI Program works in close coordination with the Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation (OLDCC) to support holistic community planning efforts. State and local governments are encouraged to explore the OLDCC Installation Readiness Program, which includes funding for developing Compatible Use Plans and Military Installation Readiness Reviews.  Both of these studies only require a ten percent cost share and are excellent tools for assessing compatibility and resilience challenges.
