Thinking Outside the Base: Off-Installation Solutions to Environmental Regulatory Issues
Over the past few years, the Department has worked carefully with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, interested states, and other experts on the Endangered Species Act and habitat crediting methodologies. This webinar will review opportunities for DoD installations to address ESA and other species and habitat-related issues through innovative off-installation practices. The webinar will highlight similar ongoing ESA and species conservation efforts within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service through USACE’s Threatened and Endangered Species Team initiatives and NRCS’s Working Lands for Wildlife Program.
Please join us at 1:00PM ET on August 10, 2016.
